Captain Terry was very personable and made my experience like we were best friends forever. The boat was clean and he provided water and soda. I arrived at the ramp early and Captain Terry already had the boat in the water. I really wanted to catch a monster bull red. Well, Captain Terry put me right on the fish literally. My third cast of the day I hooked a monster but lost it right at the boat. Biggest bull red I’ve ever seen. What a fight ! Captain Terry knew the waters like the back his hand. He had a ton of spots for Trout and Flounder too. Got a bunch of bites and had a blast. Definitely would book a trip with Captain Terry again.

We had a fantastic afternoon with Capt. Terry! Me, my wife and 13/14 year old son and daughter went out into Stumpy point hoping to catch dinner and were not disappointed. Between the 4 of us we caught two large Black Drum keepers, a couple of spade, and multiple groupers. Our last catch of the day was a 15lb red drum that put up a decent fight. We kept the Spades and 1 black drum and ate them that night. Capt. Terry was a gentlemen and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. We highly recommend fishing with Capt Terry and hope to see him again next time we visit OBX.

The Guys had a great time & caught 40 pounds of fish. Terry was the Best - they were on fish from the first cast out. Most of the time multiple on lines at the same time. They caught so many fish they had to throw a bunch back bc they were at their limits. At the marina afterwards they had more fish (over 20) than bigger boats (4 each) that came in after them waiting to be filleted. Only thing: now that they’re home, they wish they had taken one photo of them on the boat. They had such a good time they forget to take photos. Will definitely fish with Terry an our next vacation!!  Thank you so much Terry!!!”

We knew going into this, April is not the best time to fish around here. With that said, Captain Terry had us on fish within 30 minutes of leaving the dock. We caught a bunch of different species, and the kids loved seeing the different types of fish. Right from the time we met Captain Terry, he had us laughing, he is a very friendly, funny and helpful person. He has incredible patience, and did an amazing job with my 8 year old daughter, who gets bored quick. He kept her having fun the entire trip. Four of us went on this trip, and everyone caught fish. We all had a great time. If we come back to OBX, we are definitely going back out with Captain Terry!!
