Emerald Coast Anglers invites you to explore the beautiful waters in Destin, the heart of the Florida Panhandle. Whether you are after a fun time with your family and friends in the bay or want to check the bite inshore in the Gulf, you have found the right place.

Every trip with Captain Mac is a personalized experience. You will be guided through the basics before you make your first cast. Beginner to experienced angler, everyone is welcome to join in the adventure.

No matter which time of year you decide to check the waters of the ‘World’s Luckiest Fishing Village’, there is always something in season and biting. Fish with light tackle in the Choctawhatchee Bay’s grass flats and the waters around the Intracoastal Waterways. Go for Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. Anchor near local docks and bridges and target Black Drum and Sheepshead.

Or head nine miles out of the Destin Pass if you want something bigger. Troll for King Mackerel, bottom fish for Grouper and Snapper, go after Amberjack, Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Shark, Black Snapper… and the list just goes on!

Emerald Coast Anglers will take you out aboard a 22’ Sea Hunt center console. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to 2 anglers. Its single 150 HP Yamaha engine can cruise at a top speed of 40 knots and the top-notch navigational and fish finding electronics will aid your search for the fish. The boat is equipped with a toilet and an air-conditioning system for your maximum comfort.

All trips come with quality rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait, as well as licenses for you and your party. 15%-20% gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated.

We left out as soon as we arrived. We found bait and then started going for fish. We had come during a weird time for fishing (had been raining constantly and also was extremely hot) but we still caught two fish. Captain was great and explained to us all the types of bait we had seen and told us all about the fish we could catch and how they typically act and the best ways to catch them. If you come at the proper time during the season you will maximize your catches.

Really wanted to give all 5 stars, but only caught 2 fish that were both too small to keep. Captain Mac told me when we booked fishing had been a little off due to the rains they’d had, so I didnt feel like it was his fault in any way. Wish we could have caught more, but if we were gonna book another bay trip in the future, I’d use him again. We had a good time even though we didnt catch much. My son and me and Captain Mac had lots in common and lots of good conversation. I’d recommend... Mehr

With all the rain in the past few days the water was not as clear as normal making for not so optimal fishing. But even with the conditions Captain Mike was able to get our bait fish right of the bat and he put us on some reds. He was very knowledgeable of the bay and where we needed to go to catch the fish. All the equipment was in great shape with no problems or issues. I highly recommend him for any one wanting a fishing trip.

We only had a few hours for fishing this week. I contacted Mac about a trip. A good guide can put you on fish in almost impossible conditions. Mac did just that. Water temp was warm and clarity was nonexistent. We still caught some really nice Redfish, one over 27”. Will definitely be back and will be calling Mac. Great guy to fish with.

Great experience with Captain Mac! Very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a little windy, but Captain Mac knew where to take us out of the wind and still be on the fish. Caught several Reds (including one that went 20+ pounds) as well as some Speckled Trout and other species as well. Would definitely fish with him again.
