My 14yo son and I had an absolute blast with Bryan. He was friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell he actually enjoyed being there! Bryan was quick to take our fish off the line, tell us a little about them and even show us how to take the best pictures. We caught some great keepers and some great releases and lost a few battles with some big ones, but it’s all part of the experience! My son said “This is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life!” If you’re looking for a thrilling, deep sea fishing adventure, book with Bryan! You won’t be disappointed!

After an amazing trip with captain Bryan last July we knew that we’d be back this summer for another charter. This was the BEST decision we could have made. Captain Bryan took us out about 18 miles off shore and set us up to fish the bottom. Before long we were hooked on snapper, B-liners and the most fun catch of the day, a massive cobia. Captain Bryan was calm and cool under pressure, helping and guiding my brother on reeling in this beast and bringing home a 40lb fish. We had some fun hooking up some sharks and saw a ton of wildlife while fishing. I said it last trip and I will say it again, I can’t recommend a better charter for the Sebastian area. If you want a knowledgeable, friendly and skilled captain to put you on the fish, Southern Thunder is the way to go!

The captain of this boat is excellent for beginner and experienced anglers alike, a storm had rolled through days before our trip and despite rocky rough conditions and sea sickness, he put us on fish at every spot we checked. Jacks, snapper, red drum and more! He was incredibly kind and patient and we even took time out of the day to rescue a stranded boat after it’s engine failed. He also let the charter run an extra 20 minutes to account for this. He is truly the best of the best and I won’t be using any charters besides him in the future.

I have done plenty of fishing in my life since I was a little kid. I fished the north lakes of Wisconsin to the Florida Keys, but I was never as satisfied as I was after a day of off shore fishing with Captain Bryan. His knowledge of the fish species and where to target them made this trip amazing. My son and I got an experience of our life time, and then some.
I’m alredy planning a next trip because we are hooked.

Captain Bryan was courteous, thoughtful and informative! He had called us in advance to reschedule because of dangerous sea conditions and gave us lots of choices to accomplish that.
We had two goals and one involved going fairly far offshore, which turned out to be rough enough seas that some of us were feeling sea sick, so he quickly found us some good seas closer in. While we landed some spanish mackerel we trolled for bigger ones.
Bryan’s flexibility really helped us tailor the trip to our needs.
