Capt. Zach is an expert in many different techniques, including spinning and fly fishing. He provides fly gear for those willing to give this ancient tradition a try. It’s a challenge, but definitely worth a shot. He prefers using light tackle for a fair fight, unless he’s battling the “Silver King,” in which case he’ll take out the heavy tackle, as Tarpon are known as one of the best fighters in the game.
You’ll be fishing from a 17’ Mitzi flats, outfitted with top-of-the-line navigational electronics, an icebox, a live bait tank, and safety equipment. She can take up to 3 guests per trip, and each person will be provided with state-of-the-art rods and reels, as well as bait and lures.
Your fishing license is also covered, and if you’d like to keep the fish you caught, Capt. Zach will offer to clean and fillet your catch for you. However, he prefers to release the fish back into the wild in order to preserve the local ecosystem.
Your next adventure is only one click away. Book this trip and get ready for an unforgettable day of backcountry fishing with Capt. Zach. Feel free to bring some food and drinks and don’t forget the sunscreen, and get ready to create lasting memories with First City Fishing Charters!
