Our trip went great. We are a family of four with two teenage daughters. We went out on a really windy day but the waves weren’t overwhelming. We got to our first spot and immediately started catching 1-2 lb fish. I’m talking first line in had a fish on it before the second line hit the water. Our crew of Jared and Junior worked seamlessly together pulling off fish and baiting hooks while giving us feedback and pointers to help land the fish. Our evening was capped off when we used one of the fish we previously caught as bait and reeled in a big Yellow Jack. It was a great time and will definitely book again next time we are in Aruba.

Capt Jerry and his 1st mate were kind and easy to talk with. Both assisted with fishing and tried to ensure fish were caught. They explained each fish and were very helpful when trying to land the bigger fish we caught. We caught queen trigger, horse-eyed Jack, yellow tailed snapper, grouper, and grunts. We were also introduced to balloon fishing! They filleted what we wanted to take home and provided the best ways to cook each fish we selected. Fishing was a bit slow, but that’s where the saying that’s why they call it fishing and not catching was invented. The crew provided water and music and were quick to ensure we were the ones catching & landing instead of them.

We went out with Gerald and had a fabulous trip! We bottom fished for three hours then snorkeled around a shipwreck. We caught a fun variety of fish (strawberry grouper, grunt, trigger, and squirrel eye). Also caught two very large remora which were cool to see! We had a group of 7, ages 13-50 and we all had a great experience! After fishing, we had an opportunity to meet Johan. Johan is quick with communications and seems like a an all-around great guy. We hoped he could be our captain, but he had another obligation and we were very happy with Gerald. We would definitely book this trip again!

My whole family (4 men and 5 women) had an absolutely amazing time with hooker charters. We booked a PM fishing and snorkling trip. The crew worked hard to put us on fish, and everybody ended up catching. We caught enough grouper and snapper to feed everyone for dinner. The crew fileted the fish for us and brought them up the restaurant right off the pier where we had them cooked fresh. The snorkling was unbelievable. We swam over a ship wreck and saw hundreds of beautiful fish and sea turtles. I highly recommend this trip. It was well worth the money.

We arrived by cruise ship and fished the noon to 4pm time slot.  Capt assured us he would have us back to the pier in time for us to taxi back to the port. Everything went as planned and Jerod and Jr were awesome guides.  They put us on fish and were happy to identify all the different species of fish we were catching.  We caught rough 35 fish (2 adults 1 kid).  Jr cleaned the fish once back on the dock.  We kept a few filets for Moomba bar to cook up.  If you do this ask the waiter / waitress to do a variety (fried, blackened, grilled).  I defiantly recommend the hooker!
