Captain Crews and Logan take their responsibility to their clients very seriously and are all business. They did a great job and worked hard for us all day. I had a special request to not go snapper fishing in the middle of snapper season, I wanted something different, I wanted to chase big gamefish with a live baits or lures. We discussed our options and settled on trolling out for kings and Spanish on our way to catch amberjack’ with lice bait. We stopped to catch baits just outside the pass but they weren’t cooperating so Captain Crews adjusted the plan and headed for a rubble pile where we dropped cut bait for ruby red lips to use for bait. Logan kept our baits fresh and lines in the water after quick fish removals to make quick work of bait catching. After pulling in a couple dozen bait fish, along with a some trigger fish, small reds and a vermilion snapper in a very short time, we headed for the amberjack spot. Logan is well organized and runs the deck like a machine, switching gear, prepping baits and rigging lines so we were ready when we got to the spot. Once the captain found the jacks it didn’t take long to hook up with a big amberjack. Captain Crews and Logan kept us on big fish all day to the point our arms were worn out. Amberjacks were out of season so all were released to fight another day, however, the barracuda, Spanish mackerel and vermillion snapper came home with us. If you want a truly professional, well ran trip this is a great choice.

Captain Stephen put us right on top of the fish and his deckhand Logan kept the lines baited and fish off the hook. Adults and kids all had a great time and all caught many fish. Captain Stephen and his deckhand Logan were great with the kids! We caught the biggest red snapper we had ever caught. We caught many species on this 5 hour trip. From a sportsman point of view captain Stephen was great because we caught 2 large sow red snapper and he said we need to release the 2nd back to help future fisherman to catch red snapper and our group was glad to take part in this release. I would recommend Black Flag with captain Stephen and deckhand Logan to anyone that wanted to go out and catch fish and have a great experience. Thank you for the great experience Black Flag!

So glad I chose Black Flag Company and Captain Steve for a fishing charter with my boys. It was the first time for 5 of the 6 of us and Captain Steve and first mate Logan made it so easy and fun. Their sole mission was to make it fun for us and to put us on fish. Logan worked hard to educate us on technique, the fish we were catching, and just made it a very non-intimidating and exceptional experience. Everyone had a great time and I highly recommend this charter to anyone whether highly experienced or not. We caught our red snapper limit and planning on a great dinner tomorrow night. Captain Stephen and Logan had us reeling in fish immediately trolling out to their bottom snapper location   And we quickly limited out on red snapper  
They continued to keep us reeling in fish trolling back
These guys are obviously on top of their game with knowledge and techniques and worked very hard to give myself and 3 teenage boys a great trip.
Logan took great care of us with the bait and reels while explaining things and also the cleaning of our catch. I will definitely be looking for these guys first to book when I come back to orange beach
