We are looking for a responsible Personal Assistant to provide personalized secretarial, logistical and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to manager’s working life and communication.

About you

  • Work experience as a Personal Assistant preferred

  • Experience as a driver, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

  • MS Office and English proficiency (written and spoken) 

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Up-to-date with latest office gadgets and applications

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Discretion and confidentiality

  • Minimum High School degree

  • PA diploma or certification would be considered an advantage

  • Availability to occasionally jump in and help with one-off tasks outside of working hours

About the job

  • Pick up and deliver messages, documents, packages, and other items traveling by foot, car, or public transport

  • Driving manager daily to their desired destinations

  • Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external stakeholders

  • Screen and direct correspondence through social media, email and other channels

  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments

  • Make travel arrangements

  • Take dictation and meeting minutes

  • Source office supplies

  • Produce reports, presentations and briefs

While this role involves a wide array of responsibilities, we are not looking for one person that will perform 5 full time roles for the price of one.

Your priority is to help your manager be more productive. Some days, it's going to be delivering a package, on others it will be helping plan a business trip or managing a busy email inbox.

Bottom line, the role will differ day-to-day and you will have space to do things with high quality and attention to detail while learning new things regularly.

Pay and conditions

  • FishingBooker hires on the basis of a full-time employment contract (ugovor o radu).

  • Please note that for this position we will perform background checks in the last stage of the interview process.

  • Salaries depend on the level of seniority, we assess seniority relative to the team at FishingBooker during the interview process.

  • We're proactive about sharing salary information, the salary ranges for this role (depending on seniority) are starting from 600 EUR to 900 EUR net.

  • Every six months (April and October) you will receive a detailed performance review from your manager with clear instructions on how to grow further. During these periods, you will also be eligible for salary increases based on your performance and initiative.

  • Your working hours will depend on your manager’s work schedule but will correspond roughly to 9-5 with a 40 hour workweek.

  • 23 days of paid vacation (maximum of 25 depending on your time spent in the company).

  • Private health insurance.

  • Access to books, training, and courses. 

  • Our standard equipment setup typically includes the latest Apple Macbook Air, a Dell Ultrasharp monitor, and a mouse/keyboard of your choice.

  • You don’t have to be passionate about fishing but, we have a tradition of sending the whole company on a fishing trip every year. In 2019 we went to Rovinj, Croatia and in 2018 we went to Fujairah, UAE. This year we’re planning Egypt.
